The time to own your compute is now.

Not later. Not when it is convenient. Not after they finish sealing the boxes shut. Now.

Build a homelab. A real one. Loud fans. Exposed boards. Drives you can touch. GPUs that go burrr. Get a 3D printer. Get a soldering iron. Build the workspace. This is your factory floor.

Start scavenging.

Marketplace. eBay. Thrift stores. Pawn shops. Goodwill. Yard sales. Office cleanouts. Dumpsters. The trash. Become a junker. Become a scavenger. Rip open dead machines and steal their bones. Old routers. Broken laptops. Dead servers. Your grandpas desktop. The rich kids selling an old gaming pc.

This is not nostalgia. This is survival. Do whatever you have to do to own your compute.

Do not let them take this from you.

The technocracy is here. It sells you convenience and bills you forever.

Do you see it? Subscription servitude is the end state. Renting your own tools. Asking permission to compute. Mandatory cloud accounts. Mandatory updates. Mandatory refresh cycles every three years. HOW DO I CANCEL.

You will not know what is inside the box. You will not be allowed to know.

Ask the questions they do not want you to ask.

Is it upgradeable? Is it hackable? Can you open it without breaking it? Can you fix it when it fails? Can you build it from parts on a table?

When something breaks, can you replace a capacitor for $2? A fan for $10? A drive for $30? Or are you forced to buy a $300 authorized replacement kit that ships from a warehouse you will never see, tied to a serial number you do not own?

Technology is not optional. It is infrastructure. It is access. It is voice. It is work. It is memory. And the moment you do not control it, someone else does.

They want sealed boxes. They want passive users. They want obedient renters who never open the lid.

Do not comply.

Learn the stack. Own the hardware. Run your own services. Break things on purpose and fix them yourself.

Become ungovernable at the hardware level.

OWN YOUR COMPUTE. OWN IT NOW.
